Privacy Policy

Data the app stores

The app stores gameplay information locally on the device, including saved matches, Player Record history, achievements, learning progress, Bookmarks, Quick Start choices, appearance choices, and gameplay, sound, and music preferences. This information is used only to provide the app’s features. It is not transmitted to the developer or shared with third parties.

Cribbage Codex does not include advertising, analytics, third-party sign-in, tracking, or third-party software development kits. It does not request access to contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, health information, or other protected personal information.

Retention and deletion

Gameplay progress and gameplay settings remain on the device until the player uses Settings → General → Reset Player Data. Bookmarks and Quick Start choices can be removed or changed in the Codex and Quick Start editor. Deleting the app removes its locally stored information from the device, subject to Apple’s device backup and restore behavior.

Music and sound

The app plays bundled music and sound-effect files. Playback does not record audio and does not send listening information to the developer.

Apple services

Apple may process App Store purchases, downloads, diagnostics, or other platform information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. The developer does not receive personal information through Cribbage Codex itself.

This website

This website does not require visitors to create an account. Like most websites, the hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser type, and server logs. If optional contact features are added later, this policy will be updated before they are used.

Changes

If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the app’s privacy information will be updated before that version is released.
